First Plenary Session 
Ouachita President Ben Sells officially open the conference with a reef devotional thought, and CGE President Carolyn Bishop shared her perspective on the current environment of opportunity for the organization.

H.E. Nhem Thavy, Member of Parliament from the Kingdom of Cambodia gave a keynote address sharing his efforts to provide a Christian influence as a believer returning to his home country after a successful career in the USA. 

Dr. Paul Haidostian, President of Hagaizian University in Beirut, Lebanon spoke of the “voice of Lebanese Christians” in higher education.

Lunch included a challenge from Lifeshape President & CEO Larry Cox and a nostalgic look back at the 1st 30 years of CGE from its beginnings as CSI Education Consortium led by Southwest Baptist University President Pat Taylor.

After lunch LSESD CEO Dr. Nabil Costa and LDI Vice President Greg Vossler shared educational needs in Lebanon, Albania and China.

The CGE banquet is always a highlight. This Years of attendees enjoyed music from Ouachita’s steel drum band.

CGE global leader awards were presented to H.E. Nehm Thavy and longtime friend and associate of CGE, Dr. Larry Cox. Dr. Tommy King, President William Carey University was honored as the outgoing chair of CGE.

Dr. Joshua Walker shared some of the unique life experiences and perspectives that have shaped him in his work with broad international focus and support for international Christian education.
